He is regarded as one of the early practitioners of the Northwest Regional style of Modernism. His output was limited, but was influential on later generations of Portland architects. ==Early life== John Yeon was born in Portland on October 29, 1910, the son of John B. Yeon and Elizabeth Mock Yeon.〔Hortsch, Dan. Nationally-known architectural designer dies.
